Shelby Lynn Thompson

Inman, SC – Shelby Lynn Thompson, 29, entered into Heaven on March 29, 2025. Shelby was the daughter of Pam Worley and the late Ron Worley and a loving wife to Justin Thompson. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Shelby was one of three children. From an early age she was determined and stubborn. However, her determination and strong-will became great assets as she got older. She attended Boiling Springs High School where she began to blossom in theatrics and started to develop an interest in special effects (FX) makeup. After graduating high school in 2014, she went on to graduate from Kenneth Schuler School of Cosmetology in Esthetics and Daytona State College in Massage Therapy. Shelby attended The Vine Church and loved worshipping the Lord. She began her career with Wise Chiropractic where she was a beloved massage therapist. She earned many titles throughout her life: daughter, sister, wife, massage therapist, but mommy was her most prized. Although Shelby loved her work and her clients dearly, her dream in life was to be a wife and mother. She had a natural motherly instinct and loved to be in the presence of children. Shelby was an old soul who found joy in many things like reading, drawing, makeup, Broadway plays, and all things Disney. She loved Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh; Halloween, decorative skulls; and Stephen King. She was a daughter of God, full of laughter, and was living her fairytale life. Shelby embraced the world with a child-like spirit. As Winnie the Pooh said, “How lucky we are to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” Shelby was a light and inspiration to everyone and left the world a better place. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her daughter, Tahani Aurora Thompson(5), her rainbow baby, Lillyana Rose Thompson(newborn), and her son, Kylo Scott Thompson(2); her siblings, Ashley Audi (Mike) and Austin Worley (Jenna); nephew, James; niece, Larklynn(who lovingly called her BeeBee); mother-in-law, Shelley Thompson; brothers-in-law, Ryan Thompson and Eric Thompson (Sarah); nephews-in-law, Aiden and Oliver; her very best friend Kelly Crisp; grandparents, her precious cat, Atlas; and many other truly loved family, friends, coworkers, and clients. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her little “blueberry” baby; and her furbaby, Toby. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 3, 2025 beginning at 3:00 PM at Milestones Church, Spartanburg, SC. A Celebration of Life will begin at 4:30 PM. The service will be live streamed.
