Patricia Ann McKnight

Lyman, SC -- Patricia Ann McKnight, 69, passed away on February 3, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Guy Austin and Josephine Powell Smith and the loving wife of the late Brian McKnight. Pat was a dedicated member of LifeSong Church since 2012, where she served in many meaningful ways and was recognized as being a Game Changer. She faithfully served in the LifeSong Café, on the Transformation Team, and in various outreach ministries, including back-to-school backpack drives and Teacher Appreciation Week. She willingly served wherever there was a need alongside her late husband, Brian. He was her best friend and partner in ministry, and they were fondly known at LifeSong as “Nanna and Poppa.” Outside of LifeSong, Pat lived out her faith through service in the community. She volunteered with Breaking Bread for Jesus and Mobile Meals, always willing to give her time and care to others. She also worked as a vendor operator with Canteen Vending Services, where her kindness and work ethic were well known. Above all else, Pat cherished her family. She adored her grandchildren beyond measure and found immense joy in being their Nana. She also deeply loved her four dogs, whom she happily spoiled cooking them homemade dinners and treating them as cherished members of the family. Pat leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and faith that touched countless lives. She will be remembered for her warm heart, her servant’s spirit, and the quiet but powerful way she made the world around her better. She is survived by her children, Lisa Hudson (Joshua) and Brian McKnight II; grandchildren, Tyler Belt, Elizabeth Pettit, Brianna Flemming (Kasey), and Amber McKnight; great grandchildren, Carter Pettit, Colton Flemming, Noah Belt, and Kenji Flemming; many nieces and nephews; furbabies, Bella, Gracie, Molly, and Sadie; and her grand furbaby, Marcy. She meets her grandbaby, Korra Flemming, in Heaven. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 6:00 PM at LifeSong Church. Pastor Jeff Hickman will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Breaking Bread for Jesus. The family extends special thanks to Spartanburg Hospice for their compassionate care and support.
