Moore, SC – Walter Georg Baumgartner passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at the age of 83 years old. Walter was the son of the late Georg and Martha Staempfli Baumgartner and the loving husband to Josianne Kohler Baumgartner. Walter loved gardening, fishing, traveling, going to the beach or the lake and listening to music. He was the owner of Primatech and he served in the Swiss Military. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Gabriela Baumgartner and Daniela Baumgartner; his grandson, Adrian Baumgartner; and his siblings, Edith Heiri, Ursula Pfaller, and Hanspeter Baumgartner. Special thanks to Kindred Hospice, especially Janet Edge and Teja Owens for everything they did. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
