Sarah Emily Capizzano

September 14, 1988 - February 1, 2022

Greer, SC – Sarah Emily Capizzano went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Sarah was the daughter of Joseph and Alice Franks Capizzano. Sarah was born in Illinois in 1988 and moved to South Carolina where she lived until her passing. Sarah was full of life and energy and loved to spend her time camping, fishing, hiking, and gardening. She loved animals, she loved helping others and most of all she loved people. She was a collector of friends and never met a stranger; To know her was to love her. Sarah volunteered at AID Upstate where she sat on an advisory panel and helped to create an app for the organization. Most notably, she gave her life to the Lord in 2018 on a Women’s Retreat and was called to be baptized at Springwell in November of 2021. Sarah has been on fire for the Lord since that time. Sarah touched many lives and will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. In addition to her parents, Sarah is survived by her sister, Jeannie Kipper (Drew); her nephew, Gabe; her aunt, Susie Walker; many beloved cousins; her roommate and dear friend, Jeff Schandor; her best friend, Ashley Hubbard Jackson; as well as her four-legged best friend, Flynn and Flynn’s dog, Duchess. She is reunited with her previous dog, Malaysia and her puppy, Wiggles. Sarah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lewis and Jean Franks; and her Grandmother Josephine Capizzano. A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at 4:00 PM located at Christian Assembly Upstate and officiated by Rev. Mark White.
