Lyman, SC – Ruth Virginia Coppersmith passed away on January 4, 2021 at 75 years of age. Ruth was daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Rose and loving wife of George E. Coppersmith. Ruth was born in Queens, NY in 1945 and later worked for the banking industry in Midtown, NY. She was also a certified nursing assistant and worked in the healthcare industry. Ruth was a member of Jesus Our Risen Savior Catholic Church in Spartanburg. In addition to her husband, George, she is survived by her children; Anna Gilmore (Brent), Cheryl Holly (Thomas), and Barbara Mazza (Alan) as well as her grandchildren; Megan Mazza (Billy Louie), Matthew Mazza, Joe Bartolini (Erica), Maddie Gilmore, Brandi Tardif (Daniel); and her great grandson, Lance Bartolini. She is predeceased by her previous husband, Edward Blinn. A service will be held for Ruth on Saturday December 9, 2021 with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at Living Waters Funeral Home and Crematory; 529 Spartanburg Hwy S Lyman, SC 29365
