Myrtice Crow Mitchell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Spartanburg – Myrtice Crow Mitchell, 80, of Spartanburg, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021. She was the wife of Barry Mitchell, Sr. and the daughter of the late Ashby and Lula Israel High. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Lyman United Methodist Church. She loved the Garden Club and The Circle at church and she volunteered with Mobile Meals and The Soup Kitchen. She was creative with Arts and Crafts and loved selling her creations at local festivals. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Sheri Salley (Mark), David Crow (Leesa), Dr. Daniel Crow (Gena), and Butch Mitchell (Dedria); grandchildren, Andrew Milligan, Lindsay West, Matthew Salmon, Justin Salley, Jennifer Salley, Lauren Lane, Ashby Crow, Jake Crow, Taylor Eubanks, Jackson Crow, Kayla Phillips, Chrissy Mitchell and Matthew Mitchell; and ten great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her first husband, Donald Crow. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 PM, Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Lyman United Methodist Church, 106 Groce Road, Lyman, SC 29365 with the service beginning at 1:30 PM. Interment will be at Wood Memorial Park, 863 Gap Creek Road, Duncan, SC 29334. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mobile Meals, PO Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
