Tina Carol Dennis

Inman, SC – Tina Carol Dennis passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025. She was daughter of the late Albert Orlando Dennis and Mary Meband Hilton and the loving, better half of 25 years to the late Robert Ambrose. A beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend was born and raised in Hampton, Virginia. Tina graduated from Menchville High School in Newport News, VA. She went on to earn both her cosmetology license and CNA license, dedicating over 40 years of her life to serving others with skill, compassion, and love. Tina had a gift for making people — and animals — feel seen and cared for. Dogs were especially drawn to her gentle spirit, even those who typically kept their distance. Her love was boundless and unconditional; she wanted to feed, care for, and uplift everyone she met. Her laugh was contagious, her presence comforting, and her zest for life unforgettable. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Tina cheered them on with unmatched loyalty and pride. Her love for the game was only rivaled by the love she had for her family, friends, and cherished pups — Lola Mae and Bella Rose. She is survived by her loving children; John Dennis and Sequoya Rucker (Reggie Rucker); her adored granddaughter, Neisha McGee and her husband; siblings, Diane Dearing (Larry), Patricia Dennis (Corey), Linda Dennis, Cheryl Dennis Cressel, Harry Dennis, Roy Dennis, Tricia Rodriguez (Davie), twins: Paul Dennis and Paula Dennis, and twins: Michael Dennis and Michelle Sears (Ron); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends, and her loyal dogs. In addition to her spouse, Tina was preceded in death by her siblings; Albert Dennis, her twin, Tim Dennis, and twins: Victor and Vernon Dennis; her brother-in-law, George Cressel; as well as her beloved pups, Day Day and Gracie. A celebration of Tina’s life will be held all day on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the home of Sequoya Rucker. The family invites all who knew and loved Tina to come as you are and wear Dallas Cowboys blue in her honor. Let us remember her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and the love she freely gave to all.
